USED C.F.Martin / D-18 Authentic 1937 Aged 2023 [12]

A gem of a guitar that will make even the most genuine freaks groan is now in stock.
The Authentic series was introduced in 2007 as a complete reissue of the 30's Martin following the GE series, and until then, the reigning reissues of the Vintage Martin were the HD and the aforementioned GE series. The HD and the GE series were reissued versions of the Vintage Martin, and while the looks and parts were reproduced from those days, the specifications of the neck and other parts that affect the sound were a little too modern and not a perfect reproduction. In such a situation, Martin announced the Authentic Series, which was very popular at the time for its use of T-bar rods and glued nickel wire, and genuine freaks were astonished at the seriousness with which they reproduced those days, rather than convenience. The model is also Aged, with a semi-gloss body, aged toner, dents, weather checks, etc. After the specification change of the Authentic Series, the natural color was used, but this yellowish coloring will appeal to those who love the old specs. Now, let me explain the sound. First of all, the body is very light and the neck has specific weight. You will be surprised at the power of the sound just by playing a single chord. The warm sound is not like anything from recent years, and it is very soft and has a wide range. The ideal neck angle, the aforementioned gluing of the nikawawa, the choice of materials, etc. are all things that Martin really put a lot of thought into when making this guitar. This is a phrase that guitar fans will use at least once, "This is the last guitar I will ever play.
The condition of the guitar is Aged, so there are some dents and scratches, and the sound hole has been scraped, but there are almost no new scratches and the guitar is in beautiful condition. The neck is perfectly straight and the string height is about 2.3mm while the saddle remains. It is very easy to play and can be used for many years. The genuine hard case is included, but the metal fittings on the keys are defective, making it difficult to fasten the case.
