High-quality PB type handmade by a handmade workshop is now in stock.
This is a PB'57 type from SCOOP CREATION WORKS, a handmade traditional instrument maker based in Suita, Osaka, using only carefully selected woods and parts.
It has an ash body and one-piece maple neck with 20 frets, and is probably equipped with the original pickups.
It is based on the specifications of a PB from around 1957, but the charm of the custom-made workshop is that it can be made to any specifications without being tied to a specific era, such as black neck binding, block position markings, and 3-ply pickguard.
Gold is the metal parts of choice, and the bridge is equipped with the BADASS II, a standard replacement bridge.
High-quality wood and carefully selected parts are processed, painted, and assembled by skilled craftsmen with high precision, so that the sound has sufficient volume, full overtones, and sustain even when played live, and a sound with excellent presence and response is produced even through an amp.
It has an aged finish, but there are many scratches, dings, and paint peeling that accompany use, and the metal parts are dull and the plating is peeling.
The guitar has been maintained and cleaned at our repair center, and is in good playability condition.
The strap pin has been replaced with a Schaller locking pin, but the strap side part is missing.
