BJFE Honey Bee Overdrive RETRO is now available in used condition!
The BJFE Honey Bee OD (HBOD) is an overdrive pedal ideal for electric guitars and guitar amps set at about clean to crunch. Inspired by the sound of old Supro amps, it was created and released on December 4, 2002. With the passage of time, the Honey Bee OD has undergone gradual changes in tone due to unavoidable parts changes and requests from users.

There are many warm, mild overdrive pedals out there, but few others sound like the HBOD. It works best with other effects and distorted amps to create a fat, warm overdrive character. Another great feature is its dynamics, which can be easily adjusted from clean to overdrive with the touch of a hand.

The HBOD is by far the most dynamic response overdrive in the pedal system. It has the headroom and freqency response of an old small amp, giving the tone of a recording with a small amp, even with a large amp. It can also be placed in any position in a complex pedal system for optimal operation.

* All BJFE pedals are painted by hand. Because we use weak paint on purpose, the paint may appear uneven, faded, peeling, or uneven in places. Please note that the appearance may differ from one unit to another.

BJFE Honey Bee OD(HBOD)は、エレキギターとクリーン～クランチ程度に設定されたギターアンプに最適なオーバードライブペダルです。オールドSuproアンプのサウンドからインスパイアを受けて制作され、2002年12月4日にリリースされました。時代の流れとともに、Honey Bee ODはやむを得ないパーツの変更や、ユーザーからの希望などにより少しずつ音色に変化が生まれました。

音色の特性やペダル自体の特徴、さらにスペックにも違いはありませんが、2002年に発売された当初と比較すると、現在のHBODは少しだけ元気が良く、張りのあるサウンドとなっています。Honey Bee OD Retroは、2002年に発売した当初のHBODのサウンドを再現したペダルです。

暖かでマイルドなオーバードライブペダルはたくさんありますが、HBODのようなサウンドのペダルは他にはほとんど存在していません。他のエフェクトや歪んだアンプと組み合わせても最適に動作し、太く暖かなオーバードライブキャラクターを作ります。手元のタッチでクリーンからオーバードライブまで簡単に調整できるダイナミクスも、大きな特徴です。

HBODは、ペダルシステムの中にあっても圧倒的にダイナミックなレスポンスが特徴のオーバードライブです。古い小さなアンプを使用したようなヘッドルームとフリーケンシーレスポンスで、大きなアンプであっても小型アンプでレコーディングしたような音色が得られます。また、複雑なペダルシステムの中でどの位置に設置しても最適に動作させることができます。

* BJFEのペダルは、全て手作業でペイントされています。あえて弱い塗料を使用しているため、塗装のムラや薄くなっている所、はがれ、凹凸などが随所に見られますが、仕様上のものとなりますのでご了承ください。また、1台1台違った外観となる場合もございます。

使用感が若干ありますが 動作良好で良品です。
