Fender Japan period Jazzmaster made by Fujigen is now in stock.
The Jazzmaster was favored by surf music in the 60's and grunge/alterna types in the 90's. The asymmetrical offset body is stable when held in a sitting position.
The asymmetrical offset body is stable even when held in a sitting position, and the large single coil is equipped with a fat sound and a beautiful clean tone.

Alder body, long scale like the Strat, rosewood fingerboard, floating tremolo, Alnico single coil combination, and preset switches for instant tone changes make this a versatile model.

The "springiness" of the floating tremolo, which can be fixed arm-up, and the synergy of the single-coil pickups with alnico magnets create a tone like no other guitar.
The bridge saddle has been replaced for the mustang to prevent the strings from falling off during strokes.
There are multiple wood chips on the head tip and neck side, and numerous dents scattered on the neck grip.
There are numerous large and small paint chips on the sides of the body, around the perimeter of the top and back, and at the neck joint, as well as many scratches and dings throughout.
The pickup covers are discolored and the metal parts are dull.
The truss rod has little room to tighten and the neck is slightly wavy, but all parts have been maintained including fret rubbing and playability is good.
