The success of the GE series in 1995 was the start of a trend toward vintage reissues, and the Authentic series followed suit in 2006. The vintage elements such as T-bar rods, glued on Nikawa, etc. are still popular. The newest model is a comparatively early model, made in 2008. The gloss finish has an aged toner, which is different from the current model. The sound is truly superb! If you have never played an Authentic, please give it a try, and you will be reminded of how different it is from the Standard series and how deep an acoustic guitar can be. I am sure you will be impressed with the difference between the Standard series and the Authentic. I know this may sound a bit clichéd, but it really is a wonderful guitar. It can handle anything from strokes to fingerstrokes.
The condition of the guitar is very clean for its age, and the neck is perfectly straight. The neck is perfectly straight and the string height is low, making it very easy to play. Please consider it.
