USED LUDWIG / NO.402 SUPRAPHONIC 14x6.5" Late 1970s [12]

This is a miraculously existing NO. 402 that no one has ever heard of, even though it was made in the 1970s!

The serial number indicates that it was made between 1979 and 1980, but it is as good as new.
It was a very rare and rare one, and we are very happy to be able to offer it to you at this price.
This is why it is priced as it is now.
The guitar was disassembled by a specialist to check the condition and to take pictures, but it has not been played or tuned.

It is often said that the 402s of the 70s have a different sound. In fact, there are many people who have converted their 70's 411s (Super Sensitive) into 402s, and the sound of the 402 may have been a kind of sound that drummers should have aimed for.
The reason behind this is that drummer John Bonham loved it in the 70's, which is probably why it is still so popular today.
The head is MEDIUM COATED and the back side is X THIN OPAQUE SNARE!
It looks as if it was brought back in a time machine. We checked it out and found two minor dents (near the switch and on the shell) due to storage conditions, and some adhesions on the joints in the interior photo (looks like petrified metal), but no rust or bits at all. And the head from those days and the snappy from those days are also unused.
