USED Fender Custom Shop / MBS 1968 Rosewood Stratocaster by Jason Smith Natural [12]

We are pleased to announce the arrival of a rosewood Strat made by master builder Jason Smith!
Master builder Jason Smith, who grew up with Fender and his father, who was a staff member at Fender, and after joining the Custom Shop, learned the art of making instruments from legendary senior master builder John English, has created this all This is an all Rose Stratocaster.

This particular instrument was made in 2000, and is believed to be the second of three made, as the serial number "2of3" indicates.

Like the famous rosewood Telecaster with rosewood body and neck, it has a pancake construction with a thin maple wood sandwiched in the center, and the neck is a very luxurious one-piece including the head and fingerboard.

The pickups are marked AY 4-14-00, indicating that they were wound in 2000 by legendary pickup craftsman Abigail Ibarra.

The hard and dense rosewood gives it a hard sound, but it has a straight and unique sound different from alder and ash.
The paint is cloudy from the neck joint to the inside of the cutaway on both sides.
There are some minor scratches and dents scattered throughout, and the metal parts are slightly dull.
The pickup selector has been replaced due to poor contact.
Although the instrument has some signs of use, it has been maintained and cleaned at our repair center, and is in good playability condition.
