USED Fender USA / 25th Anniversary Stratocaster Anniversary Silver [12]

This is an anniversary model created to commemorate the 25th anniversary of the Stratocaster (1954–1979), which was released in 1979.
The unit we have in stock was manufactured in 1980 and is equipped with Schaller tuners.
The pickup dates are confirmed as 190980 for the front, 191080 for the middle, and 21?08? for the rear, and the pot date on the center tone control also confirms a 1980 model.
The DC resistance of all pickups is in the high 5kΩ range, indicating that this guitar is equipped with single-coil pickups conforming to the standard specifications of the time, rather than the later high-power X-1 pickups.
While based on the standard line of the era, it features specifications that reflect revisions from the CBS era, such as a 4-bolt neck plate, making it one of the models that symbolizes the transition from the late 1970s to the early 1980s.
This is a Stratocaster that offers more than just collector’s appeal; it is a guitar designed to be played.
This is a player’s condition instrument.
It shows scratches, dents, and paint deterioration consistent with its age, and exhibits significant signs of use.
Additionally, there is discoloration due to aging.
There is paint peeling near the 3rd and 5th strings on the headstock top, and paint discoloration and peeling can be seen on the elbow contour.
The metal hardware also shows signs of aging, such as tarnish.
Upon arrival, the neck finish was peeling, so the entire neck (excluding the headstock) has been refinished with lacquer.
It plays well.
We have determined that all pickups and electronics are original.
The tremolo arm has been replaced, and the arm insertion point on the bridge has been enlarged (presumed to be an approx. 5.5mm specification).
The back panel is missing.
While not in collector's condition, this is a player's Stratocaster with a vintage-style patina that has clearly been well-played.
