USED TEISCO / K-56 Reissue, 1999, Silky Blue [12]

We have received a used reissue model of the Tesco.
This model is a reissue by Kawai Musical Instruments in 1999 of the legendary Tesco guitar, which produced numerous "Japanese Bizarre Guitars" in the 1960s.

Tesco is renowned as a representative of the "Japan Bizarre Guitars" of the 1960s. The K-56 is a three-pickup version of the high-end K-4L model.

It features a beautifully curved offset Noah wood body, a maple neck, a rosewood fingerboard, a 4:2 tuning machine layout on the headstock, a zero fret, and three TH-50 pickups, along with volume and tone controls and individual pickup on/off switches.

With its simple three-pickup configuration, this is a guitar you’ll want to use not only for classic instrumental guitar and GS styles but also for garage and heavy distortion sounds when paired with a fuzz pedal.
There are scattered fine scratches and dents throughout the body, and the hardware shows some tarnish.
While it shows some signs of use, it has been fully serviced and cleaned at our repair center, and playability is excellent.
