USED Paul Reed Smith (PRS) / SC245 10Top Quilt, Manufactured in 2007, Whale Blue [12]

A 2007 model with a single-cut body and medium scale has arrived.
As the name suggests, this model features a distinctive single-cut body shape and has a character different from that of the flagship CUSTOM model.

It features mahogany that is thicker than that of the CUSTOM, along with a top made of quilted maple with large, distinct grains—befitting a top-grade instrument—and its beautiful appearance, reminiscent of the surface of the ocean, is another major attraction.

It is equipped with the 245 Treble/Bridge pickups, designed exclusively for this model. Rather than the sustain-rich, high-fidelity sound that characterized PRS guitars from the early to mid-2000s, this model’s sound features a slightly sweet and deep resonance, a subdued midrange, and a full-bodied, robust high end—fully showcasing the model’s unique character.

The bridge is made of brass and features an integrated tailpiece; together with the thick stud bolts, it transmits string vibration to the body without loss.

In addition to the single-cut body shape, the guitar incorporates numerous homages to important, traditional models in the history of the electric guitar—such as classic Kluson tuners, a wide-fat neck profile, and a 24.5-inch scale length instead of the standard 25 inches—serving as a precursor to the models PRS has aimed to create since the late 2000s.
There are pick marks on the body top and numerous buckle marks on the body back; overall, there are many scattered scratches and dents, and the hardware shows some tarnish.
The finish on the top is slightly cloudy, but there is minimal fading.
Although it shows some signs of use, it has been fully serviced and cleaned at our repair center, and playability is excellent.
It comes with a backplate autographed by Paul Reed Smith himself.
