The IBANEZ TS808 Tube Screamer is an iconic pedal that played an indispensable role in the history of overdrive pedals. Characterized by its unique midrange response and smooth drive sound, it handles a wide range of applications, from boosting clean amps to producing natural overdrive.

This vintage unit features the no-R-mark configuration and is equipped with a 1981-dated capacitor. In addition to the MP-D01201B circuit board used in the original TS808 era, it features a glossy JRC4558D tube. It continues to be highly regarded as the origin of the Tube Screamer sound and is a historic model that exerted a tremendous influence on the development of subsequent overdrive pedals due to its high level of refinement.
The exterior shows signs of wear appropriate for its age, including scratches, scuffs, and paint peeling. The serial number label on the back panel has peeled off. Additionally, there is a tear in the battery snap cover, but this does not affect its current operation.
