This is a Jim Dunlop JD-F2 Fuzz Face featuring the B.A.R.T. Mod, SunDial (Bias Control), and ON/OFF FUZZ POT Mod by ANALOG.MAN.
Based on the JD-F2—which recreates the 1960s Dallas-Arbiter Fuzz Face—this unit features several practical modifications unique to Analogman.
The B.A.R.T. (Big Ass Russian Transistor) Mod delivers a thick, presence-filled fuzz sound with rich harmonics. It offers excellent tracking with the guitar’s volume control, enabling a wide range of expression from clean tones to dense fuzz sounds. Additionally, it features the external “Sundial” bias control, allowing you to adjust the sound’s texture and response to your preference.Furthermore, the ON/OFF FUZZ POT mod ensures practical, hands-on operability. Setting it apart from the original JD-F2, this pedal embodies the unique charm of Analogman and is sure to catch the attention of fuzz enthusiasts.
The exterior shows signs of use, such as scratches and scuffs, but it functions perfectly. One of the screws securing the back panel is slightly bent, but it does not affect the unit’s stability.
