USED Tokai / TE-80, Manufactured in 1980, Blonde [12]

We’ve received a 1980s Tokai TE-80.
Although the headstock logo is missing, we’ve identified it as a TE-80 based on the faint traces of the decal lettering, the “TOKAI” engraving on the bridge, and the “80” engraving at the end of the fingerboard.

The body is made of SEN WOOD, a wood often used as a substitute for ash, finished in a blonde color and fitted with a single-ply black pickguard.
It features a maple neck and rosewood fingerboard with 21 frets. While inspired by the 1950s TL model, it incorporates original specifications such as the rosewood fingerboard, a brass bridge, and a six-saddle bridge.

The nut has been replaced with a brass one, and the frets have also been replaced with Jescar 55090 medium-jumbo frets, which deliver a sound with quick attack and are more wear-resistant than nickel silver.
The logo decal on the headstock top is missing, and there are numerous scratches and dents scattered throughout the guitar.
There are sticker marks on the back of the body, and significant paint damage on the body end.
The guitar has been fully serviced and cleaned at our repair center, including a fret replacement, and is in good playing condition.
