USED Fender / 1978 Muatang Black [12]

We have a 1978 Mustang in stock.
We have determined this from the serial number on the head and the serial number on the pickguard (S819547).
Since it was released as a student model, the short scale, small body, slant-mounted covered single coil pickups with on/off/phase lever switch, dynamic vibrato tremolo unit, and other unique specs create the one and only Mustang sound. The unique mustang sound is created by such unique specs as a slant-mounted single-coil pickup, on/off/phase lever switch, and dynamic vibrato tremolo unit.
The pickups have been replaced with Seymour Duncan Antiquity II Mustang Neck/Bridge, the lever switch, pots and jacks have been replaced, and the capacitor has been replaced with an orange drop.
Also, the strap pins have been replaced with new Fender type.

There is a small paint chip on the tip of the head and a ding on the head back.
There are also many minor scratches and dings scattered throughout the neck and body, and the paint is peeling around the strap pins on both sides, indicating that the guitar has seen its fair share of use over the years.
The frets are quite worn, but this does not affect the playability of the instrument.
The original hard case is included, but please note that the locks on both sides of the case are not locked.
