USED Fender USA Fender / 1966 Mustang Red B Neck [20]

The neck date is "6JUN66B", which indicates a '66 B neck, and the pickups are also '66 gray bobbins, respectively.
The volume side of the pots are soldered and cannot be confirmed, but the tone side is '66.
Both pots are made by the same CTS company and were manufactured for Fender.
The capacitor is a Circle D. The on/off and pickguard are also original.
The dynamic vibrato is before the patent number was stamped.
The F-key pegs are also original, with the shaft visible through the cover.
The decal on the head is from the 8th period, which was used in late '66.
From the late 66, the OFFSET - decal was discontinued, and the dynamic vibrato on the bridge is also stamped with a patent number, so this is a rare specs item from the transitional period.

* After our arrival, it has been cleaned, string replaced, rod adjusted, octave adjusted, and string height adjusted, so it is in good playing condition.
The frets are quite low, but there is no sound jamming.

The body shows signs of having been over-lacquered throughout.
* One of the clasps of the attached hard case is broken.
There are weather checks throughout, and dents with paint chips on the neck join and body corners.
