The body is crafted from carefully selected alder, while the neck features a one-piece maple construction. The neck profile is the soft "V" shape—said to be a favorite of Clapton’s—with a 9.5" radius fingerboard and vintage-style frets.
The pickup system features three “Vintage Noiseless” single-coil pickups, which not only provide excellent noise reduction but also deliver a very rich and responsive sound.
It also features "TBX Tone Controls," allowing for precise control of the high and low frequencies, making it suitable for a wide range of tones—from a sweet front-pickup sound to a crisp, cutting sound.

The headstock logo has chips and stains, and there is a small dent on the corner of the headstock accompanied by paint cracking.
The parts show some discoloration and rust, and the pickguard is warped.
There are scratches and small dents throughout the body.
