Gary Willis is a legend in the electric bass world, loved by fans all over the world as a solo musician and as the bassist of the fusion band "Tribal Tech.
Gary's passion for playing bass goes without saying, but he is also extremely passionate about his instruments, and Ibanez has been working with him for 25 years.
3-D arched ash wood body
The ash wood body is characterized by its attack and punchy sound, and like the SR shape, which is Ibanez's standard bass model, it is easy to hold and fits the body comfortably.
The body is made of 3pc maple.

Bartolini "GWB" pickups
The GWB is equipped with Bartolini's original GWB pickups, which have been used on all previous GWB models.
The coils inside the pickups are independent of each other to obtain a more accurate volume balance, and the top surface of the pickup cover has a gentle curve to adjust the distance between each string.
The top surface of the pickup cover is also gently curved to optimize the distance between each string.
Exclusive Finger Lamps
The GWB model is known for its finger lamps, which were designed by Gary himself. The distance between the strings and the body has been optimized to match the playing style of the player.
Bartolini NTBT 2-band EQ
This is Bartolini's standard EQ that produces a natural tone. Pulling the volume knob turns on the EQ bypass function.
Gotoh Machine Head
The tuning knob is designed to reflect fine tuning even in harsh conditions such as during live performances.
