Since the 1960s, Fujigen has been producing many famous brands on an OEM basis. In the 1980s, a certain U.S. guitar manufacturer recognized the high quality of Fujigen's technology, and Fujigen produced many products as an OEM brand guitar production plant until the early 1990s. Today, Fujigen guitars from those days are sold at high prices in the used guitar market. The factory that has continuously produced high quality guitars and basses up to the present day is the Fujigen factory located in Nagano Prefecture.
BASIC CLASSIC SERIES
The "BASIC CLASSIC" series is a series of models made by the "Fujigen of the world" that follow traditional design while achieving excellent cost performance. Of course, they are "MADE IN JAPAN" and manufactured at the Fujigen factory in Nagano Prefecture, Japan!

The body is made of basswood, which has been used in many famous brand guitars in the past few years with little individual variation in sound and grain, and the C.F.S. (Circle Fretting System), which was developed by Fujigen in 2002, is used in all the models in the series! The satin-finish maple neck is easy to play, the "U" shaped grip is shaped to fit the size of Japanese hands, and the fingerboard is made of rosewood, which is becoming more and more expensive every year. The body is finished with a glossy gloss finish, giving it a high-end feel! Most guitars/basses in the same price range are manufactured overseas, but this one is made in Japan with Japanese craftsmanship. C.F.S. (Circle Fretting System)
Normally, guitar strings are stretched radially and straight frets are driven on them. In this case, there are theoretically three different scales, resulting in minute deviations in pitch. The Circle Fretting System solves this pitch discrepancy by making the nut and frets circular. This eliminates the shift of chords depending on the position, and also realizes a rich sustain. Regardless of position, the string vibration gives a clear resonance to the instrument itself and produces a rich long tone and good ensemble balance. This is a revolutionary system that can accommodate the keen sensibilities of musicians.
