~Features~
A through-neck construction that combines long sustain and rich resonance with high rigidity
A 5-piece neck combining maple—known for its clear tone and crisp attack—with hard walnut.
Rigidity is enhanced by a graphite rod installed inside the neck.
The long sustain and rich resonance provided by the through-neck construction, along with the seamless playing feel across the entire fretboard, are arguably the greatest features of BTB basses.

5th string: 37” ~ 1st string: 35” Extra-Long Multi-Scale
By setting the scale length of the Low-B string (5th string) to 37”, the low-string end offers a stronger sense of tension than the standard BTB model, delivering exceptional clarity and a well-defined, core-rich sound when tuned down.
This is the most extreme fan-shaped multi-scale design among Ibanez basses, offering significant advantages for technical fingering, particularly in the higher fret ranges. (Note: This requires practice and getting used to, and may not be suitable for all players or playing styles.)

Okume Wing Body
The wing-shaped body, which flanks the neck, is crafted from Okoume wood, known for its rich mid-to-low frequency response.
The deeply cutaway body style contributes to playability in the high positions, and the shape and design of the horns are engineered to provide excellent balance when playing standing up.

Ibanez T1 Pickup
This original humbucker, consisting of two separate coils, was designed to deliver a sound with a tight low-end response, punchy mids, and clear highs. The rounded edges of the cover make it easy to rest your fingers, and by slightly offsetting the ends of the two pickups so that they run nearly parallel to the strings, it offers a level of playability not found in other multi-scale models.

MR5S (Monorail) Bridge with String Spacing Adjustment Mechanism
Each string is supported by an independent bridge, allowing string vibration to be transmitted directly to the body. Additionally, the saddles can move ±1.5 mm horizontally, allowing the string spacing to be freely adjusted within a specific range.

Active 3-Band EQ & EQ Bypass Switch with 3 Mid-Frequency Presets
This equalizer produces a wide-range, low-noise active sound, and the switch allows you to select midrange frequencies at 250 Hz, 450 Hz, or 700 Hz.
It also features an EQ bypass switch, allowing it to be used as a passive bass. (When bypassed: Tone control via the Treble knob) (Powered by a 006P battery)

Zero fret designed to ensure accurate intonation and minimize the difference between open and fretted notes
