~The “Understated” Q Model~
By applying a veneer of fine wood to the body top and finishing it with a brown-toned, low-gloss finish, we’ve created a design that exudes a solid presence and a sense of luxury while maintaining a stable, understated aesthetic.
Taking advantage of the lightness and compactness—two hallmarks of headless guitars—we aimed to create a model that can be placed anywhere you can reach it and played immediately, without feeling out of place.

“R1”/“Q58” S-S-H pickups
These pickups were designed specifically for the “Q.”
Both are designed to deliver a well-balanced sound across the entire frequency range, making it easy to shape the sound with effects pedals and other gear.
The low end is powerful without being muddy, and the high end is bright and clear—yet never harsh—resulting in a pleasant, easy-on-the-ears sound.
Recommended for players who want to enjoy the sounds of both single-coil and humbucker pickups.

Wizard C 3-piece Roasted Maple/Bubinga neck
The neck features a standard profile—neither too thick nor too thin—to accommodate a variety of playing styles.
The 3-piece construction of roasted maple and bubinga provides excellent stability and durability.

Roasted Birdseye Maple Fretboard
The fretboard is made of roasted birdseye maple, which is birdseye maple that has been heat-treated to bring out its unique, bird’s-eye-like pattern.
The heat treatment process removes excess moisture and oils from the wood, increasing its strength.

Jumbo Stainless Steel Frets
These frets are easy to maintain, offer a quick attack, provide excellent separation when playing chords, and deliver a clear tone when playing single notes.

Custom String Lock
Ibanez’s newly developed “Custom String Lock” features a simple, one-piece design.
It offers excellent durability and makes string changes easy.
It also does not require specialized strings, so you can use your favorite gauge and brand of strings.

dyna-MIX9 switching system with Alter Switch
With a single flip of the mini-switch, you can freely switch between humbucker mode and single-coil mode, producing nine different sound variations.
The neck and middle single-coil pickups are wired in series to simulate a 24th-fret neck humbucker sound.
This switching system is ideal for today’s guitarists who must handle multiple roles with limited gear.

Mono-Tune Bridges
They offer a wide range of intonation adjustment and are exceptionally easy to adjust.
The number of parts making up the saddles has been minimized to achieve a natural sound that brings out the guitar’s inherent resonance.
