From Ibanez’s “Prestige” series—the brand’s flagship line of Japanese-made guitars that commands the absolute trust of technical guitarists worldwide—the “RG653DX,” boasting both stunning looks and practical specifications, has arrived!
In Japan, this model is exclusively available at Ishibashi Music.
The body, finished in “Transparent Deep Blue Flat (TDF)” to highlight its beautiful grain, is crafted from ash, which offers excellent attack and rich resonance. The neck features an ultra-thin “Super Wizard HP” 5-piece (maple/walnut) design, boasting strength and superb sustain, and delivers ultimate playability that allows for stress-free execution of technical fast-picking and complex phrases. The fingerboard is crafted from premium rosewood, and ivory-like binding along with acrylic and abalone block inlays lend it a luxurious feel.
