Half-hollow, half-solid body construction
To achieve the rich, resonant low-end tone essential to a fretless sound, the half of the body on the low-string side features a hollow structure.

30-fret fingerboard (Pangapanga wood) enabling a 2.5-octave range
Designed for players who perform technically up to the high-fret zone, the 30-fret fingerboard is crafted from hard Pangapanga wood. (The fret lines on the fingerboard are made of black resin.)

A slim neck shaped to the ultimate degree in pursuit of “ease of grip for all players”

Nordstrand “Big Break” magnetic pickup & Ibanez “Aero Silk” piezo pickup
The “Big Break” is a pickup jointly developed by Ibanez and Nordstrand. While drawing inspiration from the excellent tonal character of Nordstrand’s classic “Big Single” pickup, it incorporates a split-coil structure with high noise-canceling performance. It was engineered to deliver tighter high frequencies and a more boomy low-end sound.
Additionally, the piezo pickup mounted on the bridge saddle allows for sound shaping similar to that of an upright bass.

2-Band EQ & Active Tone Control
Equipped with two pickup systems—magnetic and piezo—this instrument features independent volume controls for each pickup. Additionally, the magnetic pickup includes a 2-band equalizer for intuitive sound shaping, while the piezo pickup features a tone control, enabling a wide range of sound customization.
Additionally, a trim pot accessible from the back of the body allows you to control the volume of the piezo pickup on a per-string basis. (Powered by one 006P alkaline battery)
