The PM200 is a refined version of the traditional single-cut full acoustic, and will be manufactured in Japan as part of the "Prestige" series.
The neck profile has been specially designed to embody PAT METHENY's own personal style.
The letters "PAT METHENY" on the fretboard inlay show the commitment and confidence of PAT METHENY.
The large 4 1/4"" thick single-cut body produces a rich sound, and the P.U. is equipped with "Silent 58," which is also used on Pat Metheny's signature model PM120, and has earned a reputation for its transparent sound and excellent anti-feedback effect. The P.U. is a front only P.U.
The P.U. is mounted only on the front, which is a clear indication of the effort to make the most of the resonance of the large body.
The tailpiece is also specially equipped for this model, which not only creates an acoustic atmosphere, but is also designed to allow easy access for string changes, etc. This guitar is finished in a way that shows the meticulous craftsmanship that can only be achieved with guitars made in Japan.
