Blacklon has organically fused distortion and equalization in pursuit of musical expression. The Blacklon is a new overdrive pedal that responds to the player's fingertips. It produces a natural tone in any environment.
TONE × MID, creating the core of the sound
The "treble that expresses the core of the strings" and the "treble that gives the impression of an edge. These two can be controlled independently. The TONE and MID controls provide the necessary and sufficient range of tones without sacrificing the guitar's character.
TONE and MID complement each other. When one is turned up, the other can be turned down slightly for a natural and cohesive tone.
CORE: More open.
CORE is modest in effect (lol), but it creates a grainy, breathy, open sound by reducing low-frequency distortion and moderating compression.

＜ Controls
Knobs
-GAIN (left): At zero, the amount of distortion is just enough to sound clean in a band.
-TONE (center): Adjusts the tone by moving the high frequency peak back and forth. This is not a cutoff of the treble.
-VOLUME (right): Plenty of output power, works well as a booster.

◯Switches
CORE (UP: ON / DOWN: Normal): Modifies low-frequency distortion and softens compression.
-MID (UP: Strong / CENTER: Weak / DOWN: Medium): Adjusts high frequencies to express the core of the strings.
-BASS (UP: Mid/CENTER: Weak/DOWN: Strong/Distortion): Controls highs with an edge.

＜Components ＞
An obsolete audio IC is used for the operational amplifier. Although not expensive, it expresses the bandwidth required for overdrive in a dense manner. The most important factor is the "density of sound" as an effects pedal.
