Zemaitis introduces the ZMF2023BD, a handmade overdrive for bass.
Main features of the ZMF2023BD
Die-cast aluminum body: The ZMF2023BD features a case made of Hammond's aluminum material, which has a long track record as the case for many effectors around the world, for high electrical conductivity and excellent sound quality. In addition to the high hardness of the aluminum itself, the die-cast body (one-piece construction) minimizes damage to the circuit board, the heart of the effect, even in the event of a shock such as a fall. In addition, the battery replacement lid and external protrusions have been minimized to prevent accidental damage, and the body is stronger than ever.

Circuit board: The circuit design from input to output has been streamlined and hand-wired to prevent noise and so-called sound deadening. The circuit design is eliminated complex circuits and unnecessary parts, and the circuit design is itemized to the utmost limit, resulting not only in improved sound quality, but also in fewer failures caused by complex circuit design. The sound quality degradation and circuit loss are minimized to the extent possible, providing pure sound with little noise. In addition, all electrolytic capacitors used in this unit are high-grade electrolytic capacitors for audio use. In addition, metal film resistors are used for the resistors, and all resistors are designed to be highly accurate (±1%) so that differences in sound quality between individual units are minimized.

Metal Plate: The top engraved aluminum alloy plate, which is a major feature of the Zemaitis ZMF2023BD's appearance, is an icon of the Zemaitis guitar tradition, creating a sense of luxury and presence that is different from mere prints or paint.

Control knobs: Instead of using plastic knobs, which are prone to ageing and breakage, these knobs are made of high-grade, heavy-duty metal. Since this is a compact effect pedal that is often placed at the foot of the user's feet, the knobs are much less likely to be damaged than plastic knobs if accidentally stepped on.
The metal knobs also serve as a grounding element.

Switches/LEDs/Jacks: The Zemaitis ZMF2023BD uses mechanical switches for sound quality instead of electronic switches. A clicking sensation not found in electronic switches can be felt even through the sole of the foot. Blue LEDs are used for easy visibility even in dark places. Input and output jacks are made by Switchcraft for reliability.

Battery compartment: The back cover, which is attached to the back of the body with four screws, opens to reveal a battery compartment where the battery can be stored by connecting it to the battery snap.
The battery compartment is not provided with a dedicated battery lid to minimize damage to the battery.
