“Paradise in Art” / Steve Vai’s New Signature Model, the “PIA3761”
The pinnacle of guitar craftsmanship as envisioned by guitarist Steve Vai!!

Steve himself describes the “PIA3761” signature model—which he named “PIA: Paradise in Art”—as “the evolution of the JEM.”

While the body is made of alder, just like the JEM, the body design incorporates new, meticulous details in the body edges, contours, and horns.

The symbolic “Petal Grip,” designed to evoke the image of petals nestled together
The grip design—featuring two petals nestled together—is likely to be the most striking feature of the PIA.
Steve views this as a visual representation of two things coming together to create a synergistic effect, and he considers it an important symbol of unity, friendship, and mutual solidarity between people.

Like the JEM, the PIA neck features a 5-piece maple/walnut construction shaped to Steve’s preferred grip.

Along with the grip, the “PIA Blossom inlay” serves as the signature artwork of the Steve Vai model
In addition to the Tree of Life inlay—a trademark of the JEM—this new inlay was designed exclusively for the PIA, featuring the graceful and beautiful botanical designs that frequently appear in Steve’s own artwork.
The fingerboard is made of rosewood, and the side position markers feature glow-in-the-dark Luminlay.

Scalloped Fretboard (21st–24th frets)
The fingerboard features a scalloped profile that is scooped out toward the higher frets.
The frets are jumbo-sized stainless steel frets treated with the Prestige Fret Edge Treatment.

“USA-made DiMarzio® UtoPIA™ Pickups” designed specifically for the PIA
These custom pickups were engineered based on the tonal direction Steve has favored in recent years, seeking smoother highs, scooped mids, and a defined low end.
All pickup covers feature beautiful embellishments that perfectly match the guitar’s design concept.

Equipped with a high-pass filter (operated via the push-and-pull volume knob)

Edge tremolo bridge
Ibanez’s original tremolo, which Steve has continued to use for over 30 years

A “magnetic tremolo cavity plate” that can be attached and removed without mounting screws
The cavity plate on the back of the tremolo, modeled after a petal design, is screwless and can be easily attached or removed.
(* A white protective sticker is pre-applied to the product’s Magnetic Tremolo Cavity Plate to prevent scratches during shipping and display.)

Ultra-lightweight Ultralite Tremolo Arm™
The grip is made of lightweight yet durable carbon graphite; its light weight and thick, easy-to-grip design enable precise arm control.

“Paradise in Art"/Steve Vai new signature model『PIA3761』

スティーヴ自ら“the evolution of the JEM"と位置付け、“PIA:Paradise in Art”と名付けたシグネチャー・モデル”PIA3761”。

PIA Blossom inlay”

PIAのためにデザインされた”USA製 DiMarzio(R) UtoPIA(TM) ピックアップ”

Edge

Ultralite Tremolo Arm(TM)
