The new BB series has dramatically improved the sound of the body, and has achieved a sound that is both powerful and clearly contoured.
BB700 Series
The BB700 Series is a multi-functional model with a 3-band active equalizer for precise sound makeup, and the ability to switch between active and passive modes.
3-ply alder/maple/alder construction.
Miter-bolting neck joint produces a powerful sound that is integrated with the body.
Equipped with a convertible type bridge that can be selected according to preference.
Alder/maple/alder 3-ply body construction
The new BB series has an alder/maple/alder 3-ply body construction.
The hard maple sandwiched between the alder on both sides enriches the mid-range and makes the body sound more integrated into the band's sound.
In addition, the use of maple for the body material enables direct sound transmission with the maple neck, reducing sound loss between the body and neck and ensuring that string vibrations are received.
Miter bolting for a tight fit of the neck
In addition to the four screws that secure the neck vertically from the back of the body, two additional screws are used to secure the neck end at a 45-degree angle.
The body and neck are tightly adhered to each other, resulting in rich sustain and overwhelming body resonance.
Newly developed pickup YGD Custom V7
Combined with the alder/maple/alder body construction, the YGD Custom V7 pickup delivers a clear sound that does not get buried in the band.
Equipped on 700 grade and Pro grade.
Active Circuit
Sound makeup by active circuit and passive circuit can be switched at the touch of a switch.
The treble knob of the 3-band EQ functions as a master tone when used passively, and is designed so that there is no volume difference when switching between the two.
High-quality gold-plated parts are used, and a battery alert LED is also provided.
Controller section
Equipped with a 3-band active equalizer, active/passive switch, and pickup balancer.
Convertible bridge and saddle
The "string-through-body" construction transmits the energy of string vibration to the body with less loss.
By passing the strings at a 45-degree angle, stress on the strings is reduced and a clear, warm tone is achieved.
