USED Fender Custom Shop / 1962 Stratocaster Relic Shell Pink [03]

We’ve just received a used 2018 Fender Custom Shop 1962 Stratocaster Relic Shell Pink!

It features a 2-piece alder body, a 5/4 quarter-sawn maple neck finished with Medium Tint Flash-Coat Lacquer, and a Flat-LAM AAA rosewood fingerboard.
The neck shape is a "60s-Style Oval 'C'".
The fingerboard radius is 9.5", and it is equipped with 21 "SANKO 6105" frets.
It retains a vintage feel while incorporating specifications that make it easy to play even today.

The finish color is "Shell Pink." The entire body features a "Relic" finish, with areas where the paint has peeled back to reveal the base coat and wood, as well as fine scratches and dents, creating a cool, rugged look.

The pickups are original "Hand-Wound JC Fat 50s" models for the front and rear, and a "Hand-Wound JC LTD" for the center.
The "Hand-Wound JC LTD" center pickup was designed by former Master Builder John Cruz, delivering a powerful yet clear sound with excellent projection.
Combined with the power of the "Hand Wound JC Fat 50s," this guitar is a true all-rounder, capable of handling everything from clean tones to driven sounds with ease.

The controls feature the "Strat Vint Mod Wiring #2" configuration.
In addition to the tone control affecting the bridge pickup, the "Treble Bleed circuit" ensures a clear, unmuddy tone even when the volume is turned down.

Regarding the condition, in addition to scratches from the original relic finish, there are red color transfer marks on the back of the body and some paint lifting on the contoured areas. There is a mark on the back of the neck that appears to be from a stand.
The included hard case shows signs of discoloration.
The strap pins have been replaced from the original ones.
While there are signs of use, there are no issues with playability.

The combination of the cute pink color and relic finish makes this a truly distinctive instrument!
