A used 2008 Custom 24 Artist Package Black Cherry has just arrived!
This is a model from the so-called “Artist Package,” featuring an artist-grade maple top, ebony headstock veneer, pau-ferro inlays, and gold hardware.

Custom 24
From the company’s founding in 1985 to the present day, the “Custom 24”—PRS’s flagship model—has undergone numerous specification changes and has consistently led the music scene of its era. With its beautiful appearance, excellent playability and durability, and wide range of tones, the Custom 24 fully satisfies the needs of guitarists. Its appeal lies in its versatility, which allows it to handle a wide range of genres, making it a favorite among guitarists worldwide.

Body, Neck, and Fingerboard
The body features a classic combination of an Artist-Grade flamed maple top, mahogany back, and mahogany neck. The fingerboard is made of MacArthur ebony.

Neck Shape
The neck features a “Wide Thin” profile. With its wide yet thin grip, this shape is ideal for fast playing and lead work.

Pickups
The guitar is equipped with the classic “HFS” and “Vintage Bass” pickups. The HFS—which stands for “Hot, Fat, Screams”—is an evolution of the original Standard Treble pickup. It’s a powerful pickup that strikes a balance between attack, clear highs, robust mids, and powerful lows. The Vintage Bass pickup, meanwhile, is characterized by a warm high-mid sound that’s ideal for rock and jazz.

Condition
There is a chip in the wood at the tip of the headstock, as well as paint peeling on the body top and sides. There is also peeling of the clear coat on the side of the fingerboard.

Other minor scratches, dents, and some discoloration on parts are visible, showing signs of wear consistent with its age.

All components essential to playability—including the neck, frets, and truss rod—are in excellent condition.
Furthermore, upon arrival, our repair center performed a full adjustment, fret leveling, and touch-ups on dents on the back of the neck, so you can use this guitar with confidence.

Replaced Parts
・The 5-way rotary switch has been replaced with a 3-way toggle switch.
・A push-push tone pot was installed when the toggle switch was mounted. * Both the rotary switch and the tone pot come with genuine replacement parts.
