Early D-28 Vintage Reissue! Affordable player's condition!"

This HD-28VR was produced between 1996 and 1998. It features forward-shifted scalloped bracing, herringbone binding, slotted diamond and slotted square position marks, long saddle, modified V neck (nut width 42.9mm), open gear pegs, and tortoiseshell pickguard. In 2006, it was revived under the name HD-28V, but it is no longer in production.
This particular guitar was made in 1996. Waverly pegs, Tortis pickguard, L.R. Baggs Lyric (contact mic), and strap pins on the heel of the neck have been retrofitted.
There are some dents, scratches, and paint clouding, as well as some satin paint flakes on the back of the neck, what appears to be cured glue on the head surface, and dulling of the peg plating. There is a slight lift on the lower bass string side of the bridge, but this is not a problem. Fret scuffing has been done, binding peeling has been corrected, and the neck has been ironed out. There is a slight gap in the back binding at the neck heel. The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod has been checked to 60 degrees left and right. The frets are about 5 or 6 tenths high, but this does not affect the playability of the instrument.
The hard case is a Martin case, the type seen in the late 70s and 80s.
The price is reasonable for the condition of the instrument. This is recommended for those who are looking for a player's condition HD-28V type product. It has been played as well as it looks, but the bass is not boomy. The L.R. Baggs Lyric is installed, so it is ready for live performance as a soloist.

「D-28ヴィンテージ・リイシューの初期モデル！お求めやすいプレイヤーズ・コンディション！」

このHD-28VRは1996年から1998年の間に生産されました。フォワードシフト・スキャロップド・ブレーシング、ヘリンボーン・バインディング、スロッテド・ダイアモンド＆スロッテド・スクエア・ポジション・マーク、ロング・サドル、モディファイドVネック(ナット幅42.9mm)、オープン・ギヤのペグ、べっ甲柄ピックガードなどが特徴。2006年、HD-28Vと名を変えて復活しましたが、それも現在では生産中止となっております。
当個体は1996年製。ペグがWaverly、ピックガードがTortisの物に交換されており、L.R.Baggs Lyric(コンタクト・マイク)とネック・ヒール部のストラップ・ピンが後付されています。
打痕、引っ掻き傷、塗膜の曇りが散見されるほか、ネック裏のサテン塗装のてかり、ヘッド表面に硬化した接着剤のようなもの、ペグのメッキのくすみが確認できます。ブリッジ下方低音弦側に若干の浮きがありますが、現状問題ないレベルです。フレット擦り合わせ、バインディング剥がれの修正、ネックのアイロン修正をいたしました。バックのバインディングのネック・ヒール部に僅かに隙間が発生しております。ネックの状態は適正で、トラス・ロッドは左右60度まで動作確認済です。フレットは5、6割り程度の高さですが、現状演奏性に支障はありません。
ハード・ケースはマーティン製ですが、70年代末から80年代に見られたタイプの物となります。
現状渡しとなりますが、その分お求めやすい価格となっております。プレイヤーズ・コンディションのHD-28V系商品をお探しの方にお勧めです。外見相応に弾き込まれていますが、低音がブーミーな印象はありません。 L.R.Baggs Lyricが搭載されておりますので、弾き語り、ソロ・スタイルでのライブの即戦力になります。
