D-28 with Lester Flatt model-style pickguard!

This item is modeled after the D-28 with a large pickguard owned by bluegrasser Lester Flatt, a style more familiar to Mistill fans in Japan than Lester's, as Kazutoshi Sakurai of Mr. Children used Lester's signature model and a D-28 with a similar design. This style is more familiar to Mistill fans in Japan than Lester's. The pickguard is non-original and was probably replaced later, but the finish is relatively meticulous.
The original is a 2005 model featuring a non-forward-shifting top brace, 42.9mm nut width, rotomatic pegs, and gold leaf logo. The fingerboard and bridge are made of striped ebony.
There are some dents, scratches, picking marks, partial paint fogging, and satin paint glare on the back of the binding neck at the end, but generally speaking, it is in the range of use and age commensurate with its age.
The neck has been ironed and some of the binding has been repaired by our repair department. The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod has been confirmed to operate at 60 degrees left and right. The frets have been rubbed together with no dents, and more than 80% of the height remains. Both playability and sound are perfect.
It has the horsepower of a D-28, but the bass is not so boomy, and the sound is well-balanced. This guitar is recommended not only for Lester and Sakurai fans, but also for those who are looking for a guitar with a different look.

「レスター・フラット・モデル風ピックガードが付いたD-28！」

ブルーグラッサー、レスター・フラットが所有したラージ・ピックガード付きのD-28を模したアイテム。Mr. Childrenの桜井和寿がレスターのシグネチャー・モデルや同様のデザインを持つD-28を使用したことで、日本ではレスター以上にミスチルのファンにお馴染みのスタイルと言えるでしょう。このピックガードは非純正で後で載せ替えられた物と思われますが、仕上げは比較的丁寧です。
元となっているのは、ノン・フォワードシフトのトップ・ブレース、42.9mmのナット幅、ロトマティック・ペグ、金箔ロゴをフィーチャーした2005年製のモデル。指板、ブリッジはストライプド・エボニーが使用されています。
打痕、引っ掻き傷、ピッキング傷、部分的な塗膜の曇り、エンド部のバインディングネック裏のサテン塗装のてかりが確認できますが、概ね年式相応の使用感、経年変化の範囲と言えるでしょう。
弊社のリペア部門で、ネックのアイロン調整、一部のバインディング浮きの修復をおこないました。ネックの状態は適正で、トラス・ロッドは左右60度の動作確認済です。フレットは擦り合わせ済で凹みはなく、高さは8割以上残っています。演奏性、サウンドともに申し分ありません。
D-28らしい馬力を感じさせてくれますが、低音のブーミーさはさほどなくバランスの良い鳴り方をしてくれる個体です。レスター、桜井ファンはもちろん、人と違ったルックスのギターをお探しの方にお勧めの1本。

The items name with "USED" are used items, and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.
