Southern Jumbo, named in honor of the Southern United States where American roots music was nurtured, has been produced continuously since the late 1990s, with minor changes in specifications and model names, after repeated reproduction and discontinuation.
This particular model was made in 1998. Unlike the current original collection, the pegs are white button cruson type, and the pickups are not equipped.
There are some dents, scratches, scuffs, tarnish on metal parts, paint floating above the bridge, chipping on the top of the truss rod cover, and some minor paint chipping on the edge of the headstock, but the weather checks on the top and back give it a vintage-like look overall. The neck angle has been ironed out by our repair department. The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod is set at 60 degrees left and right. The frets have been rubbed together with no dents, and more than 90% of the height remains. Both playability and sound are perfect.
Both the sound and appearance have aged well, and is highly recommended.

アメリカン・ルーツ・ミュージックを育んだアメリカ合衆国南部に敬意を払ったネーミングのサザン・ジャンボ。90年代に再生産と生産中止を繰り返し、同年代後半以降、仕様やモデル・ネームのマイナー・チェンジはあるものの継続的に生産されています。
当個体は1998年製。現行のオリジナル・コレクションの物とは異なりペグがホワイト・ボタンのクルーソン・タイプで、ピックアップは未装備となっています。
多少の打痕、引っ掻き傷、擦り傷、金属部品のくすみ、ブリッジ上方の塗膜の浮き、トラスロッド・カバー上部の欠け、ヘッドストックのエッジの微細な塗膜の欠けが確認できますが、トップ、バックに発生しているウェザー・チェックがあいまって、全体にヴィンテージ・ライクな風合いを醸し出しています。
弊社のリペア部門でアイロンにてネック・アングルの調整をおこないました。現在ネックの状態は適正で、トラス・ロッドは左右60度の動作確認済です。フレットは擦り合わせ済で凹みはなく、高さは9割以上残っています。演奏性、サウンドともに申し分ありません。
サウンド、外観ともに程良くエイジングされたお勧めの一本です。

The items name with "USED" are used items, and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.

All items for sale on ISHIBASHI MUSIC are stock currently available from all of ISHIBASHI stores around Japan. So it might take a few days for shipping.

And there is a chance that they may sell out in our retail location beforehand.
