We are pleased to announce the arrival of a 1976 Precision Bass!

The Fender Precision Bass was born in 1951 as the world's first fretted electric bass.
The Telecaster shape was first introduced in 1951 as the world's first fretted electric bass, and was later changed to the current shape.
Since then, it has been one of the top models of all basses without changing its shape until today.

This model is now in stock with an ash body and rosewood fretboard, which is rare for a '76 model. As indicated by the actual weight of 4.82kg, it has a very heavy feel. The weight is also reflected in the sound, with an extremely thick bass range that is truly breathtaking. You will not find a warmer sound anywhere else.

The only thing to be replaced is the wiring material, which is common for vintage instruments. The parts including accessories are almost all original, which is an astonishing spec. There is little deterioration of paint, and the inside of cavity is sealed. The truss rod is almost at the limit of its tightening direction, but there is no other major damage. The neck is currently in good condition, and both looks and playing condition are excellent.

The second string peg is hard, and there are scratches on the body and pickguard.

1976年製、Precision Bassが入荷いたしました！

世界初のフレテッド･エレクトリックベースとして1951年に誕生したフェンダー･プレシジョンベース。
テレキャスターシェイプで誕生したプレシジョンはその後現在のシェイプへと変更。
以降、今日に至るまでその形を変える事無く、全てのベースの頂点に君臨するモデルの一つとなっています。

今回入荷したこちらはアッシュボディに76年製では珍しいローズウッド指板を携えたモデルとなっております。実測4.82Kgが示す通り、非常に重量感のある個体です。その重厚感はサウンドにも表れており、極太の低音域はまさに圧巻。これ以上にウォームなサウンドはほかでは中々お目にかかることができないでしょう。

そしてヴィンテージ楽器にありがちな交換点はなんと配線材のみ。付属品も含めたパーツ類がほぼフルオリジナルという驚愕のスペックです。塗装などの経年劣化も少なく、キャビティ内にシールディングが施されるなど丁重に保管、使用されていたことが伺えます。トラスロッドは締め方向がほぼ限界ではありますが、それ以外に大きな破損も見当たりません。ネックも現状は問題なく、ルックス、プレイコンディション共に良好です。

近年人気急上昇中の70sがこのコンディションで出回ることは今後ほとんどないでしょう…！この機会にぜひお求めください！

The items name with "USED" are used items, and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.

All items for sale on ISHIBASHI MUSIC are stock currently available from all of ISHIBASHI stores around Japan. So it might take a few days for shipping.

And there is a chance that they may sell out in our retail location beforehand.

In that case we will cancel the order and refund any payments received.
