Body material / Neck joint
The arch shape of the body top has been improved to have a steeper curve than before.
The top of the body, where the bridge and tailpiece are located, is made of thick maple to catch the vibration of the strings.
From there, the maple wood is gradually made thinner toward the outer edge of the body to efficiently transmit the string vibrations to the entire body and achieve the optimum weight balance.
We also eliminated the contour cuts found on previous models and prioritized the benefits of a flat back to increase the mass of the mahogany and improve the low-mid response.

Fingerboard
As many of the SGs built by the Custom Shop to order by professional guitarists use rosewood fingerboards, the new SG's fingerboard is made of carefully selected high-grade rosewood.
The warm and well-balanced sound produced by this wood is in tune with the contemporary music scene.

IRA (Initial Response Acceleration)
It is said that guitars "sound better" as they are played.
The reason for this is that the stresses that occur between the neck and fingerboard, between the wood and the paint film, and between the wood and the hardware, etc., become accustomed to the guitar as it is played, and the guitar resonates as one.
I.R.A. (Initial Response Acceleration) is a technique that relieves stresses between the paint and wood, etc. by applying vibrations specific to the finished guitar.
This process makes the guitar look as if it has been played.

Pickups
The guitar is equipped with Seymour Duncan SH-1 pickups, which have the smooth midrange and rich treble characteristic of vintage humbucking pickups.
Combined with the SG1820, it produces a warm, deep vintage tone.

Because of its black color, there are some body line scratches, light scuff marks, and a few scuffs and scratches, but overall, this is a very lightly used instrument.
The neck is in good condition.

A genuine hard case is included.

ボディ材／ネック接合
ボディトップのアーチ形状は従来よりも急カーブを描くように改良されています。
ブリッジ&テイルピースを配置するボディトップは厚みのあるメイプル材で弦振動をキャッチします。
そこからボディ外周に向けてメイプル材を徐々に薄くしていくデザインにすることで、弦振動のボディ全体への効率的な伝達と最適な重量バランスを得ています。
また従来のモデルにあったコンターカットをなくし、フラットバックにしてマホガニーの質量を増やすことでローミッドのレスポンスが向上するというメリットを優先しました。

指板
プロギタリストのオーダーによりカスタムショップで製作されたSGの多くがローズウッド指板を使用していることから、新しいSGの指版には厳選した高級ローズウッドが採用されています。
この材が生み出すウォームでバランスがよいサウンドは、現代のミュージックシーンにマッチしたものといえるでしょう。

IRA (イニシャル・レスポンス・アクセラレーション)
ギターは弾き込むことによって「鳴りがよくなる」といわれています。
その理由は、ネックと指板などの木材間、木材と塗膜間、材とハードウェア間などに生じているストレスが、弾き込むことによって馴染んで一体となって響くようになるからです。
I.R.A.(イニシャル・レスポンス・アクセラレーション)とは、完成品のギターに対してそのギター固有の振動を与えることで塗装－木部間などにあるストレスを解消する技術です。
この処理を施すことで、ギターは弾き込まれたのと同じような状態になるのです。

ピックアップ
ビンテージ・ハムバッキングピックアップの特徴であるなめらかな中音域と豊かな高音域を備えた、セイモアダンカン製のSH-1を搭載しています。
SG1820とのコンビネーションにより、ウォームで深みのあるビンテージトーンを生み出します。

カラーが黒なので、ボディ線傷、軽いスレ跡、若干の擦り傷は散見されますが、全体的に使用感の少ない個体です。
フレットも殆ど減っておらず、ネック・コンディションも良好です。

純正ハードケースが付属致します。

The items name with "USED" are used items, and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.
