This is a pre-owned Martin D-45, a masterpiece coveted by acoustic guitar enthusiasts.
The Martin D-45 is the king of acoustic guitars in both name and reality, with its generous use of premium grade wood and lavish Avalon inlays. The model gained instant attention when Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young (CSNY), who boldly fused the sounds of acoustic folk and electric rock, used this model, which had just been reproduced at the time. Japanese musicians who supported the folk boom, such as Kazuhiko Kato, Garo, Takahiko Ishikawa, Shogo Sakaniwa, Kiyoshi Taguchi, Kosetsu Minami, and Jiro Sugita, all used this guitar. These guitars were truly proof of their star status, and at the time, Japanese manufacturers competed to make copies of their guitars.
This 2014 model differs from the current model in that it has a 42.9mm nut width, scalloped bracing but no forward shift, and features rotomatic pegs. It is characterized by a more powerful sound with a sense of core.

There are shallow dents about the size of a grain of rice, light scratches and scuffs on the paint film, light picking scratches around the sound hole and on the pickguard, and light dulling of the plating on the pegs, which are hard to notice unless you hold the instrument in your hand. There are no noticeable damage or signs of use.
The neck is in good condition, and the truss rod has been confirmed to operate at 60 degrees left and right. The frets have been rubbed together and are not dented, and more than 80% of the height remains. Both playability and sound are perfect.
The deep resonance, rich volume, lustrous tone, and sustain of the D-45 make you want to play classic tunes such as "Blue-Eyed Judy" and "A 22-Year-Old's Farewell. This is the ultimate guitar for a lifetime and a joy to own.
