A used 1963 Stratocaster Heavy Relic model made by Andy Hicks, made in 2024, is in stock!

This guitar was built by Andy Hicks, who has experience building guitars for Jackson, Gretsch, James Tyler, and many other brands. This is one of the finest guitars we ordered when it was new!

The body is 2-Piece Ash with "Lacquer" paint. Neck is "Quartersawn Maple" with "Nitrocellulose Lacquer" paint. Fingerboard is "Round-Rosewood". Neck shape is "60 Style Oval "C" with 9.5" radius fretboard. Fret size is "6150 Medium Jumbo" with 21 frets. The slim neck and larger frets provide high playability.

The pickups are hand-wound "Josefina Compos Custom Shop Fat50s Strat Single Coil" by Master Pickup Winder "Josefina Campos". Strat Blender w/Greasebucket Tone & Tone Saver" control allows blending of neck PU and bridge PU by adjusting TONE2. The Tone Saver is equipped with a capacitor and other components. This wiring is recommended for players who want to create a wide range of sounds!

The finish is a faded faded Lake Placid blue, with realistic vertical cracks and peeling paint, reminiscent of real vintage guitars, showing Andy's high level of skill.

The sound is a supreme Fender sound with clear bell ringing.
The sound is a masterpiece that combines the practicality of high playability and vintage sound.

We are unable to determine any scratches or other defects from the marks on the aged piece, but we are keeping it to a slightly used feel. The fretboard has been set up (cleaning, string replacement, rod adjustment, octave adjustment, string height adjustment, and fret adjustment) upon arrival, and the fret board is high enough to play well.
