Road-tested by legendary guitarist Eddie Van Halen in arenas around the world, the WolfgangR Special is a musical thoroughbred with stunning style, a booming sound, and the specs to withstand that high-speed playing.

The Wolfgang Special QM, Baked Maple features a basswood body with an arched quartered maple top and a bolt-on quarter-sawn baked maple neck reinforced with sturdy graphite to match Eddie Van Halen's stoic specifications. The urethane back finish is handcrafted to Eddie Van Halen's stoic specifications. A 12"-16" compound radius ebony fingerboard for energetic riffs and lead notes features 22 jumbo frets and black dot inlays. A spoke wheel on the neck end allows for easy truss rod adjustment.

Two custom-designed EVH Wolfgang Alnico 2 humbuckers are mounted directly to the body and provide dynamic yet articulate voicings as well as rich sustain for strong chord playing and melody lines. A sturdy and reliable EVH-branded Floyd RoseR locking tremolo and Floyd Rose locking nut combine to maintain accurate tuning even with extreme arm playing. The bridge is also equipped with a convenient EVH D-TunaR that instantly switches to drop-D tuning. The 500K EVHR BournsR Low Friction Pot on the volume knob with treble bleed circuit enables smooth volume operation, and the 250K EVHR BournsR High Friction Pot on the tone control knob prevents accidental The 250K EVHR BournsR High Friction Pot on the tone control knob prevents accidental tone shift.
