JAMES TYLER's guitars have been a staple of the music scene since the 80's with the "Studio Elite" series designed to support the diverse music scene, the rise of the "Classic Style" in the 90's, and the "Retro Series" that responded to the great mix of music in the 2000's. The "Studio Elite" is now available for pre-owned. The "Retro Series," "HD Series," "Mongoose Series," and many other models have been introduced to the world. The Studio Elite from JAMES TYLER, the pinnacle of component guitars, is now in stock!

Body, Neck, Fingerboard
The body material is carefully selected quilted maple for the body top. The body back is made of ribbed mamuyo.
This produces a fat, glossy, and clear sound that is unique to Tyler. Quartersawn maple is used for the neck and fingerboard.

Thin '59" neck shape is used. The satin finish is smooth and silky, and the thin grip makes it a perfect match for any playing style.

Hardware part
The bridge is a "G2RV" with a Gotoh base plate, which is trusted by many high-end brands. 2-point support ensures smooth operation and the pressed saddle provides a sense of overtones.

The pegs are Hipshot locking type for stable tuning and quick string changes.

Pickups
James Tyler Original Pickups are installed.
The pickup is a large pole piece type pickup that produces a smooth and powerful sound.

Controls
Controls include a master volume, 5-way selector, master tone, mid boost, a lead/rhythm mini-switch that instantly switches to a humbucker in the bridge position, and a mini-switch that switches between series, split, and parallel for each pickup. It is also equipped with a mini-switch for series/split/parallel switching of each pickup.

Although the controls are complicated, the sound produced by the 5-way switch and mini-switch has no usable or unusable notes in any position, and the ability to produce superb sounds in all positions is one of the strengths of James Tyler guitars.

JAMES TYLER guitars are made from carefully selected materials and are made with great care, and only a few hundred are made each year worldwide, making them a rare commodity. Although expensive, once you touch one of these guitars, you will forget the time and concentrate on playing. We hope you will experience its sound.

Condition
There are some minor scratches, but the guitar is in relatively good condition with little signs of use. The neck, frets, truss rod, and all other playing-related conditions are in good condition.
