MARSHALL's "guv'nor" effects pedal governor is now in stock in used condition!
The Guv'Nor was originally designed and released in 1988 by Marshall engineer Steve Grindrod with the proposition to "capture the sound of a Marshall stack in a pedal. It was used by many blues, rock, and heavy metal players at the time, and became even more well-known when Gary Moore used it on the artwork for his album "Still Got the Blues".

This one is MADE IN ENGLAND, blue base, late model.
Compared to the KOREA-made model, the response in the mid and low range is very good, and the equalizer has a wide range of effects, making this famous English-made Kavanagh a favorite of many players even today.

The Guv’Norは、1988年にマーシャルのエンジニアであるSteve Grindrodが「マーシャル・スタックのサウンドをペダルに取り込む」という命題を受け、設計・発売されたのが始まりです。当時は非常に多くのブルース、ロック、ヘヴィメタル系のプレイヤーに使用されましたが、とりわけGary Mooreがこのペダルを使用し、アルバム「Still Got the Blues」のアートワークにも使用したことで更にその名が知られるようになりました。

こちらの個体はMADE IN ENGLAND 青基盤、後期型です。
KOREA製に比べて中低域のレスポンスが非常に良く、イコライザーの効きも幅広いため、今もなお多くのプレイヤーに愛用されている名機、イングランド製カバナーです。

Please Note

The items name with "USED" are used items, and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.

All items for sale on ISHIBASHI MUSIC are stock currently available from all of ISHIBASHI stores around Japan. So it might take a few days for shipping.

And there is a chance that they may sell out in our retail location beforehand.

In that case we will cancel the order and refund any payments received.
