The S2 series was born in 2013 with a simpler and more straightforward design that expresses PRS's guitar-making skills, experience, and attention to detail. The S2 Custom 24 is the first of three models in the series. The 10th Anniversary S2 Custom 24 is a special model to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the S2 series.

The S2 Custom 24 features a maple top, mahogany back, 25" scale, 24 frets, patterned thin neck, and PRS's patented molded tremolo. The special features of the anniversary model include a Cuban mahogany neck with mother-of-pearl bird inlays and USA-made 85/15 pickups.
PRS has spent a great deal of time researching pickups, including sound and design, and the new pickups, which have gone through the TCI process, create a mellow, transparent, balanced sound, whether used primarily for pedalboard-based sound creation or plugged directly into an amp. The pickups are designed to produce a rich, transparent, and well-balanced sound, whether used primarily for pedalboard sound creation or plugged directly into an amplifier.
This is also the first time that the USA-made 85/15 pickups will be used in the S2 series along with the 1-volume, 1-tone, 5-way blade switch combination in the S2 lineup.

The 10th Anniversary S2 Custom 24 will be produced in a limited run of only 1,000 pieces.

Named for "Stevensville 2," the second production line built at the PRS factory in Stevensville, Maryland, the S2 series began operations as a new price point lineup, combining new manufacturing methods with superior quality control and production techniques. The S2 series has grown significantly in size over the past decade, and now part of the manufacturing process has been integrated into the Core and Bolt-On model production lines.
Condition.
The condition is relatively low use, with only minor scuffs and scratches. There are no problems with the neck, frets, truss rod, or any other playing-related conditions.
The neck, frets, truss rod, etc. have all been adjusted and fretted at our repair center upon arrival, so you can use it with confidence.

The PU selector switch has been replaced.
