The world's first effects pedal "arare" made of Nambu ironware, a craft of Iwate Prefecture, for the chassis.

Cast iron, the material used for Nanbu-tekki, is heavier than aluminum, which is conventionally used for the housing of effect pedals, but its tone is very musical with thick sound pressure and fast response to picking.
The "arare" has a wide sweet spot with volume, Gian, and 3-band EQ (Low, Mid, High), each of which can be used to create a very wide range of sounds. It is a transparent overdrive designed for high resolution output without sacrificing expressiveness.
One of the words used to describe distortion is the size and roughness of the "grains of distortion," and each grain of the "arare" is designed to represent a grain of distortion. Each grain of hail is designed as a grain of distortion.

岩手県の工芸品である”南部鉄器”を筐体に使った、世界初のエフェクター "あられ"霰

南部鉄器の素材である鋳鉄は、従来エフェクターの筐体として使用されてきたアルミ材に比べてずっしりと重いですが、その音色は分厚い音圧とピッキングのレスポンスが速い音で、とても音楽的な要素を持っています。
"あられ"は、Volume, Gianと3Band EQ(Low, Mid, High)で、それぞれスウィートスポットが広くとても幅広い音創りが可能です。 表現力を損なわず高い解像度で出力することを目的としたトランスペアレント系のオーバ ードライブです。
また上面に施された”あられ”は南部鉄瓶の代表的な模様ですが、歪みを表現する言葉の1つに、”歪みの粒”の大きさや荒さを言い表しますが、あられの粒1つ1つを歪みの粒として表現したデザインとしています。

Please Note

The items name with "USED" are used items, and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.

All items for sale on ISHIBASHI MUSIC are stock currently available from all of ISHIBASHI stores around Japan. So it might take a few days for shipping.

And there is a chance that they may sell out in our retail location beforehand.

In that case we will cancel the order and refund any payments received.
