USED MARTIN / D-42 Standard [03]

A used MARTIN D-42 Standard is in stock!
The serial number indicates that it was made in 2021.

The body is all solid, with spruce on the top and Indian rosewood on the side and back. The top has been aged by an aging toner to give it a candy-colored, old-style look.
The top bracing is forward-shifted scalloped X-bracing. The forward-shifted bracing was used until around 1938, and the X position of the bracing is closer to the soundhole. This increases the sound output!
The body binding and rosette are decorated with gorgeous Avalon pearl inlays, creating an atmosphere of Vintage and luxury!
The bridge and fingerboard are decorated with Snowflake inlays made of Avalon.
The 25.4" long scale Jeanie mahogany neck has been changed from a low profile to a modified low oval, and the nut is just slightly wider.
The fingerboard and bridge are made of ebony.
On the head is the vertical CF MARTIN logo that any Martin lover would love to have.

There are some minor scuffs and scratches, some gaps in the binding at the end of the fingerboard, some capo scratches and overlapping dents on the back of the neck, and hanger burn on the side of the head.
The fretboard has been cleaned and adjusted, and the frets have been adjusted.
