The 40th Anniversary PRS McCarty SC56 Limited Edition faithfully captures the essence of the model that established the golden age of electric guitars, while combining the high playability and product quality demanded by modern guitarists. And with its traditional PRS single cutaway body design and select specifications, the McCarty SC56 is the embodiment of the modern guitarist's dream while paying homage to the history of the electric guitar.

With a maple top, mahogany back, 22 frets and 24.594" scale Pattern Vintage neck, the McCarty SC56 is designed for a deep, harmonic tone and comfortable playability. The 24.594" scale and slightly thicker body give the instrument a warm, rich-bodied sound, while the Phase III non-locking tuners and PRS two-piece bridge ensure stable tuning and musical sustain.
