The long partnership between Carlos Santana and Paul Reed Smith has contributed greatly to the destiny of PRS Guitars. The Santana Retro is a tribute to this pivotal partnership through the release of a number of his signature models and derivatives. The Santana Retro pays homage to the "pre-factory" guitars Paul built for Santana in the early 1980s, and features a number of design features that have been reintroduced, including a deep waist body shape, the same heel cut as the original model, the headstock shape, and the nut design. There are many points that have been adopted again in terms of design.

The Santana Retro is, by Santana's own admission, a true musical guitar, a hybrid of the history of PRS and the latest manufacturing technology. This is the Santana Retro.

Individual Description
The specifications are orthodox but full of originality, including the ultra standard combination of maple top + mahogany back, 24.594" (* updated from 2024) neck scale, and the original neck shape that is feedback of Santana's requests.
The original signature pickups are mounted on the PUs to reproduce the spacious sound of Santana's guitar.

Also, from the 2020 model, the pickups are equipped with TCI (Tuned Capacitance & Inductance) process and have been updated with high-gloss nitro (lacquer) paint.

In fact, this model has many subtle differences from the rest of the line, such as the countertops on the back panel.
This is a great choice for Santana fans as well as those who are looking for a more classical sound!

メイプルトップ+マホガニーバックと超定番の組み合わせに24.594インチ(* 2024年よりアップデート)のネックスケール、サンタナの要望をフィードバックさせたオリジナルネックシェイプなど、オーソドックスながらオリジナリティにあふれた仕様です。
またPUにはオリジナルのシグネイチャーピックアップを搭載し、のびやかなあのサウンドを再現できます。

また2020年モデルよりTCI(チューンド・キャパシタンス&インダクタンス)のプロセスを得たピックアップを搭載し、ハイグロス・ニトロ(ラッカー)塗装にアップデートされております。

実はバックパネルのザグリなど他のラインとは微妙に違う部分が多いこちらのモデル。
サンタナファンの方はもちろんよりクラシカルなサウンドをお求めの方にもおすすめの一本です！！

The items name with "USED" are used items, and comes as shown in the pictures so there may be marks of use. All items were tested by our store staff and we test each item one more time before shipping them out to make sure they are fully functional.

Not all of the items you purchase from us are in our Shibuya store in Tokyo where we do all of our international communications from.
