USED GIBSON USA / SG SPECIAL Cherry 1973 [03]

We have just received a 1973 Gibson SG Special with a small pickguard and mini-humbuckers!
The color has faded, but the guitar is still in relatively good condition.

The body is mahogany, the neck is 3-piece mahogany with volute, and the rosewood fingerboard is non-binding with small block inlays.
The body top has lost its reddish color and is brownish in color, but the
The body back has a slight reddish tint.
There are traces of something that was installed around the side of the bridge pickup.
There is still some reddish color on the body back.

The neck is slightly slender, but has a nice rounded shape.

Two sticker-numbered mini humbuckers are mounted on the PU.
Compared to full-size humbuckers, the tone is a little brighter and tighter.
The resistance value is about 6.2k for the front and 6k for the rear. (Measurements were taken with the pots and other components passed through.)

The pots are also believed to be original as they were made in 1973 and there is no evidence that they have been replaced.

The ABR-1 is bent and the bridge is tilted toward the neck, but this is not a problem.
There is no problem at present. (The bent bridge post and the tilted bridge base make it possible to lower the string height a little).

There are some scratches, dents, dull parts, peeling plating, fading, and marks around the side of the bridge pickup, but considering the age of the instrument, it is still in good condition.
However, considering the age of the guitar, it is in good condition.
The frets are low, so there are not many left, but there seems to be no problem at present.

It is lightweight and easy to handle!
