USED ARIA / SB-900 [03]

Aria Pro II / SB-900, a famous machine from the past, is now in stock.

This model was manufactured by Matsumoku from the late 1970s to the early 1980s. The serial number on the back of the head indicates that it was probably made in 1980.
Ash/maple/ash body, maple/walnut 5-piece through neck, rosewood fingerboard.
It is passive with MB-1 pickups, and the mini-switch allows coil split and phase sound output. It is a little complicated, but it allows for a wide range of sound making.
It is also a unique model with many features, such as a super-balanced body with contoured and heel-less cutaways, 24-fret long scale, brass bridge, and brass nut.

One control panel screw is missing.
The frets are a little worn but there is about 70% remaining.
The truss rod works fine, and the neck is slightly twisted, but not enough to cause playability problems at present.

This model is rarely seen in the market. This is one of the so-called "Japan Vintage" guitars.
