The serial number indicates that it was probably manufactured around 1992.

JAMES TYLER started with the "Studio Elite" series of guitars designed to support the diverse music scene of the 80's, and then moved on to the rise of the "Classic Style" in the 90's, and then to the current music scene of the 2000's, which can be called a great mix of styles. The "Retro Series," "HD Series," "Mongoose Series," and many other models have been introduced to the world. The Studio Elite from JAMES TYLER, the pinnacle of component guitars, is now in stock!

Body, Neck, and Fingerboard
The top of the body is made of quilted maple. The neck is made of maple and the fingerboard is made of rosewood.

The nut width is about 42.0mm, and the satin finish has a smooth and silky feel with a thin grip.

Pickups
Seymour Duncan STK-S1B, Seymour Duncan model number unknown (probably STK-S1N), and Suhr Aldrich pickups are mounted from the neck position.

Controls
Controls include master volume, 5-way selector, master tone, and mid boost, with a lead/rhythm mini SW that instantly switches to the bridge position humbucker and a mini SW that switches between series, split, and parallel for each pickup.
* Mid-boost on/off switch is reversed; press it to turn it on.

Condition
The paint on the top of the body is faded, and there are many scratches and dents scattered around the body, showing signs of use.
Also, all documents such as certificates are missing, so we are not able to provide detailed information on specifications. Please understand this in advance.

There are no problems with the neck, frets, truss rod, or any other playing-related conditions.
The neck, frets, truss rod, etc. are all in good playing condition and have been fully adjusted and fretted at our repair center upon arrival.

Replacement parts
The pegs have been replaced and the screw holes have been corrected.
Arming adjuster has been retrofitted.
Neck pickup and bridge pickup have probably been replaced.
One mini switch and output jack have been replaced.
