USED GIBSON USA / ES-345TD Wine Red 1976–77 [03]

We have received an ES-345 that is believed to have been manufactured around 1976–77 based on its specifications and other details.

The ES-345 debuted in 1959 as the premium model of the ES-335 series, featuring more luxurious specifications such as a split parallelogram design and gold hardware.
In terms of sound, the inclusion of a baritone switch allows for a wide range of tonal possibilities.

It features a laminated maple body, a 3-piece maple neck with a volute, and a rosewood fingerboard.

It is equipped with two "stamped numbered PAF" pickups.
It produces a semi-acoustic tone that is bright, clear, and crisp, yet retains the airy quality characteristic of hollow-body guitars.

Currently, a mini switch has been retrofitted but is not functioning.
Additionally, the output has been changed from stereo to mono.

Two pickup escutcheons and four control knobs have been replaced; there is a chip in the truss rod cover, and the pickup covers have been reattached.

While there are some replaced parts, scratches, dents, and discoloration on various components, considering its age, it remains in fairly good condition.

Compared to models like the ES-335, this is a rare find on the market, and it’s a truly captivating instrument with its gorgeous looks and diverse sound variations!
