USED MARTIN / OM-28 [03]

We have received a used Martin OM-28. Based on the serial number, it appears to have been manufactured in 1990.
The top is made of spruce, and the sides and back are rosewood.
With a 44.5mm nut width, it’s ideal for singing and accompaniment, but we also highly recommend it for fingerstyle playing.
When played with a pick, it produces a delicate yet full-bodied sound with remarkable projection. Its longer 648mm (25.5") scale length is characterized by a resonant tone.

In addition to dents, scratches, weather checking, and heavy damage from picking, there is a repaired crack visible on a portion of the center seam.
Approximately 70% of the original fret height remains. The binding has been re-glued. A wooden shim has been inserted under the saddle. There is a gap near the heel at the joint caused by binding shrinkage. An additional strap pin has been added to the back of the neck heel. There are traces where a pickup was once mounted, and the endpin has been replaced with a non-original one.
The frets have been leveled.
String action measures approximately 2.4 mm at the 12th fret on the 6th string and approximately 2.1 mm at the 12th fret on the 1st string.
The included hard case shows signs of damage.
