YAMAHA, Japan's world-renowned musical instrument manufacturer. Its diverse business ventures mean many people have likely heard its name even outside the realm of musical instruments.

This new arrival is from YAMAHA's BB series. Since its launch in 1977, it has undergone numerous updates and remains a beloved traditional model among countless bassists.
Among them, the BB434 we've received is a model offering exceptional value within the BB series. It features the signature PJ configuration synonymous with BB basses and the iconic rounded body. Like the top-tier BB Pro series, it employs a 6-point miter joint. This enhances neck stability and delivers outstanding sound response. It provides excellent sound despite its lower price point.
This instrument utilizes alder for the body, a 5-piece maple and mahogany neck, and a rosewood fingerboard.

Controls follow the Jazz Bass motif with 2 Volume and 1 Tone knobs.
The sound is tight yet somehow rich, resulting in a highly versatile tone. Combined with its lightweight total weight of 3.79kg, it offers exceptional playability.

Based on the serial number, this unit is estimated to be a 2023 model. While there are some scuffs visible on the body, there are virtually no signs of overall use. Naturally, the neck and truss rod are also in excellent condition.
